This was the mockup I used for simulating the phone in 3D. A Photoshop file that only used 3 layers then exported it later to After effects.
This was the original photoshop file. So the idea was to have a layer for the screen which would act as a mask in After Effects. Then a middle layer that would act as a thickness layer which would give the phone the 3D look and lastly the back layer.
This was the screenshot I generated from my phone to get the look and feel of an Iphone UI. I later masked out the Whatsapp chat to replace it with the chat about the rider and the customer.
